This is a photo I took of Nigel’s wild(flower) garden in early January 2024. The showy flowers here are godetia. In our 2025 summer many of the previous year’s wildflowers grew again but very few godetia did. Taking a load of washing out to the line is much more pleasant with wildflowers to look at. This year we had beans mixed in with the flowers so I could grab a few fresh beans to eat as I returned! Our beans were a mix too - green, yellow and purple :D
